Mr. Chow was qualified as a Hong Kong solicitor in May 1983.  Apart from the legal qualification, Mr. Chow is a Bachelor of Economics awarded by the University of London.

Mr. Chow served his traineeship in Messrs. Johnson, Stokes & Master.  In the summer of 1983 after being admitted to practice by the Supreme Court of Hong Kong, Mr. Chow joined Messrs. T.S. Tong & Co. as an Assistant Solicitor. He then joined the law office of Messrs. Nicholas Lo & Chan as a partner in August 1985. By December 1986, Mr. Chow set up his own office named Messrs. C.L. Chow & Co.

Mr. Chow major emphasis of practice in the firm is including corporate law, civil litigation, finance and mainland matters.
