Mr. Chan completed his Bachelor of Art degree in the University of Calgary, Canada. Mr. Chan was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Hong Kong in March 1984. He joined Messrs. W.K. Lore & Co. in 1983 where he completed his articleship and worked there as an assistant solicitor. In July 1987 Mr. Chan set up his own firm named Messrs. Macksion Chan & Co. The firm’s name was changed to Messrs. Macksion Chan & Chan in 1999.

Mr. Chan was appointed as a China Appointed Attesting Officer by the Ministry of Justice P.R.C. in 1995 after passing all the necessary examinations.

Mr. Chan’s major emphasis of practice in the firm is including conveyancing, tenancy matters, civil litigation, matrimonial, probate matters and services provided by a China-Appointed Attesting Officer.
